MERCRUISER 3.7L 224CI ENGINE REBUILD KIT
Having trouble finding
a rebuild kit for your inbord marine engine? Well, look no further than
the EnginePartsCenters! This listing is for a master engine rebuild kit for
Mercruiser 3.7L 224ci L-4 engines; commonly known as 470, 470R, and
3.7LX. P/N 1215-500. This engine kit contains the following components:
- Piston Ring Set
- Rod & Main Bearing Set
- Full Engine Gasket Set ( does not contain water pump or camshaft to water pump seals )
- NEW Oil Pump - cast iron-check with Mercury dealer for proper screen
- Hypereutectic pistons - can be coated F-M, or Silvolite non-coated Hyper - depending on what is available
- Camshaft ( replaces O.E. # 466-9410 ) & Lifter Kit
Gasket set contains
the gaskets required to assemble the engine (i.e. head gasket, crank
seals, valve cover gasket, etc.), BUT MAY NOT CONTAIN ALL ACCESSORY
GASKETS. Check with your local marine dealer for any accessory gaskets
that you may need to complete your assembly. Please specify piston and
bearing sizes with payment (standard bore is 4.360".) BE SURE TO CHECK FIT & COMPATIBILITY BEFORE ASSEMBLY!
